Fancy Feet: Charlotte Olympia Shoes

I was flipping through a copy of Vogue a few years ago when I first saw a photo of Charlotte Dellal. I loved her personal style, and upon reading more I learned that she is the designer behind Charlotte Olympia shoes. These are some fantastic shoes, y'all- feminine and inspired by the glamour of old, yet with classic shapes. Ever since, I've added owning my own pair to my bucket list! I though I would share some of my favorites.

Summer Wish List

Hello folks! Sorry I've been AWOL lately, but I have a good excuse- I got a job! It's just something for the summer, but it's been taking up a lot of my free time (in a good way). Now that I'm getting in the groove of my new schedule, however, I'm hoping to be around more often. :)


Now, on to the fun stuff- summer is here! If y'all don't live in the south like I do, the weather may still be tolerable where you are. Down here it's hotter than hell's waiting room (grant me my Southern-isms, ha ha!). With blue skies and sunny days comes dresses and shorts, and I've been busy dusting off last year's summer wardrobe. And this, of course, leads to me thinking about what I would like to add to my wardrobe for this summer...

I love this tunic from Cape Madras. It comes in lots of different colors and would look great as a swimsuit cover or as a top over white capris. 

Anthropologie is one of my favorite stores, and I'm always in there drooling over everything whenever I go to the mall. This beautiful dress stole my heart from the moment I saw it. 

Chevron is having a moment right now, and I love the pattern on this skirt from Spool 72. It's sold out, but I'm keeping my eye on it!

I am a big fan of J. Crew pants, and this mint colored pair caught my eye...mint is one of my favorite colors and is super popular right now. 

More J. Crew love- I keep seeing this necklace on people, and I love how over the top it is. It would look so cute with a white top and those mint pants...* wistful sigh*

Last but not least, I'm gaga over these flats from Sperry. I love a good ballet flat, and I can't tell what I like more: the rose gold color or the cool trim.
